Admission fee for Fishermen 12 years of age or older is $ 45.00 per person. Non-fishermen 12 years of age or older is $25.00 per person. Children under age 12 are free (limit of two per paying adult. Children must be supervised at all times. Children around fishing areas must wear life jackets at all times.)
Awards for the Largest Fish and Runner-up and the Most Weight and Runner-up will be presented during the fish fry at the end of the tournament.
Tournament rules and Information (on reverse side) will be available at the event. Do not bring boats.
Fishing will begin at 1:00 pm and end at 5:00 pm followed by a fish fry at 6:00 pm until.
Arrival time is 12:00 Noon. At the end of the Tournament, some of your catch may be taken for the fish fry and some of you will be asked to help clean fish and help with the cooking and cleanup, etc.
You must bring your own equipment, bait (live baits are ok), snacks and drinks (BYOB). Hot dogs will be available all day at concession stand. Don't forget to bring suntan lotion, sunglasses, hats, fish scales, ice coolers, band aids, etc., etc.

The Outfitter reserves the right to use any photographs, video footage, fishing stories and names for marketing purposes, business enhancing opportunities, and/or profitable strategies for Powderkegg Wildlife Preserve. Successful guests are required to deliver to the outfitter copies of photos of film footage taken of their catch.
The Outfitter uses its best efforts to provide the guest with a safe and enjoyable fishing event. However, it is the responsibility of the guest to exercise care and judgment required to deal with the dangers and risk inherent in the sport of fishing. Therefore, the guest releases and forever discharges, and for his/her heirs, executors, administrators, personal representatives, successors, and assigns to hereby release and forever discharge the Outfitter (Powderkegg Wildlife Preserve, LLC and its owners) and his or her, their and its successors and assigns, heirs and executors, administrators, personal representatives, and all other persons, firms and businesses, of any claims, demands, rights, and causes of actions of whatsoever kind and nature, arising from, and by reason of any of all known and unknown, foreseen and unforeseen bodily and personal injuries, damage to property, and the consequences thereof, resulting, and the result, from the guest's fishing on the date written in this contract. Additionally, the guests agree to defend any or all individuals in civil court against injury, property or punitive damage caused by the guest while fishing with the Outfitter. If I, the guest, sue any and all individuals in civil court and win a settlement, I, the guest, relinquish all rights to receive that settlement from any of the aforementioned individuals.
I, the guest, accept full responsibility for any injury I, the guest, may incur while fishing with Powderkegg Wildlife Preserve (Outfitter). I, the guest, will take all safety precautions around all ponds and will supervise any guests accompanying me while fishing. I, the guest, will provide all my fishing equipment (rods, reels, tackle, buckets, bait, coolers, etc.) and accept full responsibility for them.
The requirements for enjoying the sports of PowderKegg Wildlife Preserve have been developed with careful consideration for the convenience of the guest and for the maintenance and protection of the Preserve's Grounds and Lodge. We ask your cooperation in helping us maintain the Preserve.
I, the guest (Fisher/Guest) have read the above contract and agree to abide by statements in the waiver and to pay the fishing tournament admission fee.

2009 Powderkegg Fishing Tournament - Rules & Information
- We are fishing this tournament on an honor system, i.e. No cheating!
- No fishing from boats. Fishing from docks is ok.
- You must keep all fish in your cooler or bucket. Ice will be provided.
- There will be no combining of fish. Each person must keep their fish in their own cooler or bucket.
- Your catch will be weighed at the end of the contest by the officially appointed judges.
- After the tournament, some of your catch may be taken for the fish fry. You may keep or give away the rest of your catch.
- All species of fish may be caught and kept for the weigh-in.
- You may use up to two poles per person, and use live or artificial bait.
- Wading in to fish is permitted, but swimming is prohibited.
- In case of a tie, a flip of a coin will determine the winner.
- Fishing will begin at 1:00 pm and end at 5:00 pm. We will blow a horn to signal the official end of the tournament.
- Some of you will be asked to help clean fish and help with the cooking and cleanup, etc.
- There will be no vehicular traffic other than from the main entrance gate to the parking area. Persons that have a disability and choose to fish in the Tournament, please see Jeanie ASAP about mobility concerns.
- Bring your fish scale, suntan lotion, bug spray, hat, snacks and beverages. (BYOB)
- Please put all trash in receptacles, including fishing line and broken lures.
- All fishing will end at 5:00 pm at the sounding of the horn. The fish fry will begin at 6:00 pm.
- Fishing is allowed in all ponds. Please do not stray from the fishing areas.
- BYOB and designated drivers.
- Do Not try to kill snakes.
- No Pets allowed-No pets allowed-No pets allowed!
- Awards will be for the largest fish by weight and the most overall weight, plus `2nd place' for each.
- Two(2) children allowed with a paying adult. Children must be supervised at all times. Children around fishing areas must wear life jackets at all times.
- Entry deadline is August 15th.
- The menu includes fish (bass, bream, catfish and crappie caught in Tournament), hushpuppies, French Fries, coleslaw, corn on the cob and baked beans.
