Hello.

Are you planning an outdoor wedding, an outdoor reception, an outdoor family reunion, an outdoor company event, an outdoor music fest or any other type of outdoor event? The first step is deciding on the Location. We are an outdoor Site Rental Location. The size of our Wildlife Preserve is hundreds of acres, and it is entirely surrounded by high fence for privacy & security. We can recommend a Coordinator to help you with the details of your event planning, or you can check out some Local Suppiers by clicking here. Please Note: We are a privately owned wildlife preserve. We try to offer on our website as much information as possible to help you decide whether to make an appointment to view it for your event. Often our own personal time is sacrificed to allow you the time to view what our Preserve has to offer. Due to that, unless under contract, we allow one (1) no-charge appointed visit, so please bring to that visit All persons involved in making the decision of choosing a site for your event. Additional non-contracted visits may be arranged for a fee. Please inquire. We would like to know that you too appreciate the privilege of renting our Powderkegg Wildlife Preserve. Thank you.

Corporate "Catch & Release" Employee Fishing Activity (3 stocked Ponds)

Give us the number of employees and Date. We will arrange a day of interactive fishing. Include drive time, number of hours of "catch & release" fishing, or catering. Let us know how many will bring their own bait & tackle to fish and how many will not be fishing. If not cooking out, is catering needed? We can help locate the price that meets your budget. "Group Fun Day Out”

Bring your employees, church members, relatives, reunion friends to our high fenced PowderKegg Wildlife Preserve to enjoy nature for half a day [four (4) hours]. They could picnic, cook out, Catch & Release' Fishing (everyone will need to bring their own bait & tackle), play volleyball, horseshoe games or just enjoy walking the trails. You could even have a speaker. Choose a day within the week. A Business should be able to write the day off as a business deduction. This would be a great day that all would enjoy remembering for years to come!

Special Price - $15 per person with a $275 minimum.

Four (4) hours use of the Gazebo Island, the 3 Ponds, Gaming Lawn, Grounds and Picnic Tables, 1 Portable Toilet (for up to 70 people). This includes "Catch & Release" Fishing. Clean-up time needs to be included within the last hour of the 4 hours.

Site Rental Rates & Particulars

Note: The requirements for rental of PowderKegg Wildlife Preserve have been developed with careful consideration for the convenience of the renter and for the maintenance and protection of the Preserve's grounds and the Lodge. We ask your cooperation in helping us maintain the Preserve. PowderKegg Wildlife Preserve LLC reserves the right to deny a reservation request for a function construed to be a danger to the Grounds/Main Lodge or its contents or if the function is not in keeping with the Maintenance of the Preserve. Rental agreement is subject to cancellation by outfitter if our procedure deadlines are not met.

No Hunts will be scheduled during time period contracted for an Event Rental Use of Preserve. Therefore, we cannot refund cancellations during Hunting Season!

All of our Event Rental Packages are based on rates below and can be Custom Created. We choose to work with you on an individual basis for "win-win" Pricing. . . Or, you may use one of our "Gazebo Island Specials" below.

To agree upon a fair fee, we need to know:

1). what type event you are planning,

2). how many people you are inviting,

3). what particular catering needs for your event,

4). how many hours to be used for event,

5). date & time,

6). areas of use (to be approved by outfitter)

It would be best to arrange a visit to our Preserve to go over the choices. Please Note: We are a privately owned wildlife preserve. Rental Fee - Base Rate of $275 for 3 hours,

which includes one(1) portable Toilet that accommodates 70 people, plus $50 per additional hour,

(All Site Rentals requires at least one Portable Toilet. Local Supplier charges $75 per portable toilet which accommodates 70 people. Arrange in advance. No exceptions, please. For events larger than 70 people, more than one toilet is necessary. We need at least 2 weeks notice to arrange delivery. No Exceptions.)

- Covered Front area 20 foot by 20 foot (400 sq ft) for Fish Fry Picnics and/or Dancing

- Picnic Tables Available (6) at no extra charge.

Gaming Lawn

Includes:

- Lawn area of 40 foot by 80 foot surrounded by Italian Cypress & floral shrubs

- Large enough for 40' x 80' Tent

- Badmitton/Volleyball professional net available

- Great for games of croquet

- Horseshoes game area nearby

Particulars:

- Set-up Time & Rehearsal Time: additional charge of $50 per hour and scheduled in advance.

- Clean-up Time : to be completed Immediately at end of Event & To be included in 'Actual Event Use' Total Hours (unless renter is using one of "Gazebo Island Specials" below, or arranged otherwise with outfitter) Otherwise, renter will be subject to a clean-up fee charged by outside cleaning venders (no less than $100).

- Portable Toilets: All Grounds Use events require at least one Portable Toilet. Local Supplier charges us $75 per toilet. One toilet accommodates 70 guests. For events larger than 70 people, more than one toilet is necessary. We need at least 2 weeks notice to arrange delivery. No Exceptions.

- Ice available: ice machine for small events; No additional charge. Additional ice may be needed for large events.

- Picnic tables: Six (6) available at no additional charge.

- Assortment of Folding Tables: at no additional charge. Choose from

1 - 16' x 30" Table, 3 - 8' x 30" tables, 2 - 6' x 30" tables, 2 - 33" sq. tables,

1 - 30" sq. table (you would need to rent table cloths, folding chairs, serving dishes, glasses, etc. from a Rental Company)

- Guest List: is responsibility of Renter...To insure Privacy & Security, renter may provide a copy to outfitter one day prior to event.

- Security Deposit: $250 to secure Date (see Event Rental Contract for details). A refund check will be returned 2 weeks (14 days) after Event Rental Date, subject to the condition of the Grounds/Lodge after rental.

Gazebo Island only 'Outdoor Social Party' (i.e. Parties, Reunions, Concerts, Business socials, etc): $5 per person with a $275 minimum. Guest list checked at gate. Particulars: up to 70 guests, 1 Portable Toilet provided (more guests allowed based on rental of additional Portable Toilets) ; Actual Event Usage: 4 Hours, which includes Clean-up. Minimum Set up time at no charge to be arranged with outfitter of PowderKegg Wildlife Preserve. This is a Terrific Special!! Great for cookouts. Catering available for a separate fee on a per person basis.

Gazebo Island Outdoor Wedding and/or Reception Special: $800. Particulars: up to 70 guests, 1 Portable Toilet provided (more guests allowed based on rental of additional Portable Toilets); Actual Event Usage: 5- 1/2 Hours. The Preserve is available for Rehearsal for 2 hours on the Day Before the Event day. Set-up: Morning of Event, no earlier than 8 am; also includes Fish Camp covered area, Gaming Lawn area (& designated use of Main Lodge for bridal party dressing); Clean-up: Evening/Night of Event, no later than 11 pm; ... Since this special reserves Preserve for more than one day, All time usage of PowderKegg Wildlife Preserve for this special must be agreed upon in writing.

Gazebo Island Outdoor Premier Wedding &/or Reception Special: When you need extra time to set up and take down. Great for Tent Receptions! $1,150 Particulars: up to 150 guests, 2 Portable Toilets provided, (more guests allowed based on rental of additional Portable Toilets); Actual Event Day Usage: 7-1/2 Hours; Set-up: 24 Hours prior to Actual Event Day Usage, includes Fish Camp covered area, Gaming Lawn area & designated use of Main Lodge; Clean-up: 18 hours after Actual Event Day Usage; ... Since this special reserves Preserve for more than one day, All time usage of PowderKegg Wildlife Preserve for this special must be agreed upon in writing.
